Eynsford - Poster

A picture-perfect village on the River Darent, Eynsford is popular with day visitors for its ford and river frontage, plus friendly cafes and pubs.  With a Roman villa, the Norman ruins of Eynsford Castle, the Tudor remains of Lullingstone Castle and the lively displays of birds in flight at Eagle Heights Wildlife Foundation, there is so much to see.  In this image Kit Boyd captures the beauty of the village, the church spires, a wide-angle view of the green Darent Valley, and the dramatic Victorian-built railway viaduct over which the train flies on entering the valley.
